Certified Accountants for Freelancers in France
SASU, EURL, micro-enterprise, or sole proprietorship—choosing the right legal structure makes all the difference to your take-home pay. We advise you, help you structure your business, and manage your accounting from start to finish.
Does this sound like you?
You run a microbusiness, but your income has exceeded €50,000—you feel like you're paying too much in taxes and social security contributions.
You've set up an SASU or an EURL, but you're not sure how much to pay yourself or how to handle dividends.
Your bookkeeping takes up a lot of your time every month—time you should be spending billing your clients.
You don't know if your current status is really the most advantageous for your situation—and no one has taken the time to calculate it for you.
Our services for freelancers
A freelancer who chooses the wrong tax status could lose between €5,000 and €15,000 in net income per year.
Our primary goal is to ensure you’re in the best possible tax structure.
Advice on Status & Structure
Whether you’re a micro-enterprise, a sole proprietorship (EI), a single-member limited liability company (EURL), or a simplified single-member limited liability company (SASU)—we analyze your situation, estimate your net income under each scenario, and recommend the most advantageous legal structure. This advice alone is often worth several thousand euros a year.
Bookkeeping & Tax Returns
Recording your invoices and expenses on Pennylane, monthly closing, preparing the balance sheet and income statement, annual tax return—everything is handled, nothing gets left behind. You receive your financial statements in real time.
Compensation Optimization
The right balance between salary and dividends can significantly affect your net income. We calculate this precisely each year, taking into account income tax, self-employment or payroll contributions, the flat tax, and your marginal tax bracket.
VAT and Tax Returns
Monthly or quarterly VAT returns, flat-rate or actual-cost VAT—we handle all deadlines. We pay special attention to specific cases: VAT on training, exemptions, and reverse charge with foreign customers.

Questions we often get asked
At what revenue level should I transition out of the micro-enterprise?
There is no universal threshold—it depends on your actual expenses, your family situation, and your goals. In general, when your actual expenses exceed the micro-enterprise tax’s flat-rate deduction (34% for business income) or as soon as your profit exceeds €60,000 to €70,000, forming a corporation often becomes more advantageous. We’ll run a simulation for your specific situation.
How can I maximize my compensation as an SASU or EURL?
The ideal balance between salary and dividends depends on your marginal tax rate, the applicable corporate income tax rate, and your social security contributions. We recalculate the optimal allocation each year to maximize your net income—taking into account changes in tax laws and your company’s situation.
I invoice customers abroad—how do I handle VAT?
B2B services provided to customers based in the EU are generally exempt from French VAT (reverse charge by the customer). For customers outside the EU, the rules vary depending on the nature of the service. We handle these specific cases and ensure that your invoices are compliant—an issue that is often mishandled.
SASU or EURL—which one should a freelancer choose?
The SASU offers better social security coverage (general scheme) but higher contributions (~65% of compensation). The EURL allows for lower contributions (~45% under the self-employed scheme) but provides less social security coverage. If you have high revenue and pay dividends, the EURL subject to corporate income tax is often more cost-effective. We’ll compare the two scenarios using your figures.
Can I claim a tax deduction for my work-from-home expenses, equipment, and travel costs?
Whether you operate as a limited liability company (SASU, EURL) or a sole proprietorship under the “au réel” tax regime, all actual business expenses are deductible: computer equipment, software subscriptions, office rent, travel expenses, training, Madelin health insurance, etc. We help you identify and document all your deductible expenses without the risk of reclassification.
How much does your consulting service cost for a freelancer operating as an SASU?
Our packages are priced on a quote basis and tailored to your transaction volume and needs. As a general guide, comprehensive support for a freelance SASU (including monthly accounting, tax returns, compensation advice, and Pennylane) typically starts at around €150–250 (excluding tax) per month.
