Certified Public Accountant for Independent Professionals
Doctor, lawyer, dentist, architect, consultant, notary—if you’re self-employed, you deserve an accountant who understands your specific challenges: BNC, SEL, SPFPL, social security contributions, and wealth optimization.
Does this sound like you?
You report your fees as BNC income but aren't sure whether a SEL or a SELARL would be more advantageous from a tax and social security perspective.
Your social security contributions (URSSAF, CARMF, CARPIMKO, CNBF, etc.) are unclear, and you don't know how to optimize them.
You've heard about the SPFPL as a way to build up capital while paying corporate income tax, but no one has explained exactly how it works.
You earn a good living, but your net worth isn't growing as much as you'd like—and you don't know where to start.

Questions we often get asked
At what income level does switching to SEL become worthwhile?
As a general rule, switching to an SEL becomes worthwhile when annual profits reach between €80,000 and €100,000. Below that threshold, the costs of managing a company often exceed the tax savings. Above that threshold, the difference between corporate and personal income tax rates, along with the choice between salary and dividends, generates substantial savings. We can run a simulation tailored to your specific situation.
My current accountant isn't familiar with regulated professions—what should I do?
Unfortunately, this happens quite often. Regulated professions (doctors, lawyers, notaries, architects, etc.) are subject to specific tax, social security, and professional association rules. Poor advice can be very costly. We manage the transition from your current firm—without any interruption in service.
How can I optimize my CARMF/CARPIMKO contributions?
Contributions to private pension plans are calculated based on your professional income from two years prior. In the event of a significant change in income, it is possible to adjust your estimated contributions. We anticipate these adjustments and advise you on purchasing additional quarters and supplemental Madelin plans.
Can I form an SPFPL if I practice as a sole practitioner?
No. The SPFPL holds shares in an SEL—so it assumes that you have first established a Société d’Exercice Libéral. Setting up the entire process (transitioning to an SEL and then creating the SPFPL) is a two-step process that we coordinate with our partners.
What is DAS2, and am I required to complete it?
The DAS2 is an annual declaration of fees, compensation, and other benefits paid to third parties (colleagues, subcontractors, service providers, etc.). It is mandatory whenever you pay more than €2,400 per year to a single recipient. Failure to file this declaration is punishable by a fine. We handle this for you.
Can I invest in real estate through my SPFPL?
Yes, that’s one of the major advantages of the SPFPL structure. The holding company accumulates capital at a favorable corporate income tax rate and can invest it in LMNP properties, SCI entities subject to corporate income tax, or other real estate assets. We advise you on how to coordinate your SPFPL with your real estate investments—and we manage both aspects.
